Before FIRENZE STORE, there were years spent living in Florence - Firenze, in the heart of Tuscany. Our founder came away with a lasting affection for its food culture, and for the everyday objects that gave each meal its setting.

A cup held a little longer over breakfast. A generous bowl passed around the table. Lunch stretching into the afternoon. What stayed was the feeling that a meal deserved time, company and a few beautiful things, even when there was nothing in particular to celebrate.

The colours of a place we still miss.

The warmth of terracotta, the green of an olive leaf, lemon yellow against soft white. The changing light of the seasons, from bright afternoons to cooler mornings. These are the colours and sensations we return to when choosing pieces for FIRENZE STORE.

Our collection is a small tribute to those years: to the culture surrounding the table, the pleasure of a shared meal, and a place that still feels close, however far away it may be. We choose pieces for the memories they stir and the place they might find in someone else's daily life.

Pieces with a little individuality.

A distinctive pattern, an unexpected colour, a surface that rewards a closer look. We are drawn to tableware with character, rather than a table where everything looks exactly alike.

Some ceramic finishes can have subtle variations in tone, glaze or surface detail. Where these are part of the finish, we appreciate them as small differences to notice and enjoy. A piece does not have to look perfectly uniform to become the one you reach for most.

That does not mean treating damage or a quality fault as character. If something arrives damaged, faulty or different from its description, please get in touch. Our returns policy and your consumer rights still apply.

Start with a cup you love. Let a patterned plate sit beside something plain. Bring out the serving bowl on an ordinary evening, not only when guests arrive.
